2 Suspects Charged in December Reisterstown Murder

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Two men, 19-year-old Patrick Glynn Wallace and 20-year-old David Levy Daniels, have been charged in relation to a December 9 murder in Reisterstown.

Just after 7:30 a.m. that day, police responded to Deaconbrook Circle and Glen Granite Road 21136 after a person walking in the area saw a body and called police.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found 56-year-old Jose Dela Cruz Esquivel of the 700 block of Grundy Street suffering from trauma to the upper body. He was declared dead at the scene.

Wallace has been charged with first-degree murder. Police say he and Esquivel got in an argument that ended with Wallace stabbing Esquivel multiple times.

Daniels has been charged with accessory after the fact. According to investigators, he helped Wallace dump Esquivel's body in a wooded area.

Both are being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

The incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit.
