2 Suspects Arrested for Burglary and Theft After Eluding State Troopers

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Maryland State Police arrested two burglary suspects early Saturday morning after they fled a traffic stop.

Around 2:45 a.m. Saturday morning, a trooper initiated a traffic stop because a white 1996 Dodge Ram pickup truck was speeding northbound on Route 10 at Route 170.

When the trooper exited his patrol car and approached the truck, the suspect fled the scene. A police chase ensued and the suspects crashed attempting to exit onto 295. The suspects fled in opposite directions.

Troopers were able to catch the suspects transport them to area hospitals where they were treated and released into police custody.

Investigators learned that Aaron Logan Jordan, 27, and Daniel Dylan Hicks were connected to stealing a truck and burglary. Both were charged with second degree burglary, theft over $1,000, motor vehicle theft, fleeing and eluding and other pending criminal and traffic charges.
