2 Sunday Morning Shootings Leave 6 Injured

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- City police are investigating two separate shootings that left a total of six people injured.

The first incident occurred around 1:03 a.m. Sunday in the 3900 block of Hanover Street, where a suspect was kicked out of a bar and returned with a gun and fired into the bar wounding three females and two men, police say.

The suspect is described as an African-American male, slim build wearing a dark hoodie, dark skull cap and pants.

The victims are three females 21, 32 and 49 years of age. The male victims are 30 and 42 years old.

The second incident occurred around 11:10 a.m. at the intersection of Westwood Avenue and Carey Street. Officers discovered a 48-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.

All were transported to area hospitals for treatment. All injured suffered non life-threatening injuries.
