2 Stabbed Outside Wheaton Metro Station In Md.

WHEATON, Md. (AP) — Authorities say two people were stabbed outside the Wheaton Metro station.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesman Pete Piringer says two people were stabbed near the bus bays along Viers Mill Road around 3:15 p.m. Sunday. He says both suffered life-threatening injuries.

Capt. Paul Starks, a county police spokesman, says one of the victims was a teenager.

Starks says detectives were trying to interview witnesses and checking on the availability of surveillance video.
