2 Carroll Co. Schools Placed On Lockdown Due To Police Activity In Area
WESTMINSTER, Md. (WJZ) -- Two schools in Carroll County have been placed on lockdown as police search for a possible carjacking suspect in the area.
According to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office, Winter's Mill High School and Cranberry Station Elementary have been placed on lockdown as a precaution.
School operations remain normal, however students are not allowed to go outside.
The sheriff's office, along with Baltimore County police, are assisting Westminster police locate a possible carjacking suspect.
According to Baltimore County police, police are investigating a possible carjacking from Baltimore County.
Police activity is in the area of Gorsuch Rd and N. Center St.
