2 Plead Guilty To 7 Convenience Store Robberies

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Two men have pleaded guilty to robbing seven Baltimore convenience stores at gunpoint during an eight-day crime spree.

Monte Glascoe, 23, and Gary Cordell Howard, 37, both of Baltimore, entered the pleas this week in federal court in Baltimore.

According to their plea agreements, Glascoe and Howard robbed the 7-Eleven stores between July 18 and July 26, 2013. Prosecutors say in each crime, the men pointed a gun at victims and stole money from cash registers and cigarettes.

Howard and Glascoe each face a maximum of 20 years in prison at sentencing in August and September, respectively.
