Police Investigating Several Sunday Shootings Across Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Several people were shot throughout Sunday starting overnight into the afternoon in Baltimore, police said.

Officers responded to the 4700 block of Wrenwood Avenue for a report of a shooting at around 12:58 a.m., where they found a woman who had been shot in the foot.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Hours later, at around 2:17 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 3100 block of Oakfield Avenue for a report of a shooting. There they found a 35-year-old man who had been shot to the face.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Later Sunday morning, Eastern District officers were patrolling the area when they heard several gunshots coming from the 600 block of North Glover Street at around 9:11 a.m.

Police responded where they found a blood trail that led them to the 600 block of North Milton Street, where they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to the arm.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Southeast District detectives are investigating this incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at 410-396-2422 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.

Police are also investigating in east Baltimore after two men were shot in the legs earlier Sunday afternoon.

Officers responded to the 1900 block of Belair Road at around 1:19 p.m., where they found a crime scene- but no victims.

Moments later, they were advised of walk-in shooting victims at an area hospital.

When they arrived at the hospital they found two 25-year-old men both suffering from gunshot wounds to their legs. They are both in stable condition.
