2 Men Charged With Rape Of Girl In Maryland

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — Police in Maryland say two men have been charged with raping a juvenile girl who reported being taken from Texas.

Police in the city of Frederick said in a statement that they were called Friday to a motel in the city for a report of a domestic dispute. Police say when they arrived a juvenile girl told them she had been raped by two men.

The girl told police she had been reported missing from Texas and taken to Maryland by one of the men.

Police say they have charged 35-year-old Thomas Duane Jones of Houston, Texas, and 46-year-old Marvin Bernard Armstrong of High Point, North Carolina, with rape, human trafficking and other charges.

An online court record system did not list an attorney for either man.
