2 Men Charged With Copper Theft In Harford County

JOPPA, Md. (WJZ) -- Two men are charged with theft for stealing more than five miles of copper wire in Harford County.

Aubrey Pritt, 43, and Vincent Johnson, 29, were arrested in Joppa Monday.

According to our media partner, The Baltimore Sun, the two are accused of stealing the copper from BGE power poles along a farm lane in Harford County then trying to sell the wire for scrap.
