2 Men Charged With Burglary, Assaulting 83-Year-Old Woman

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore police have charged 20-year-old Brandon Manger and 17-year-old Michael Myers with burglary and assault.

Police say on February 9 at 4 a.m., the two men broke into a home in the 15-hundred block of Popland Street. When they entered, they found an 83-year-old woman asleep. They assaulted her and ransacked the home, looking for valuables.

Police say they took $200 and fled.

When police arrived, they found the woman and took her to the hospital. Police describe her as bleeding heavily. She is still hospitalized.

Myers is charged as an adult.
