2 Men Arrested In Attempted Theft Of Vehicle

SEVERN, Md. (WJZ) -- Anne Arundel police are invested the attempted theft of a vehicle in Severn early Friday morning.

According to police, the victim said they heard a vehicle attempting to start around 3:41 a.m. in Severn Orchard Circle and when they looked out the window they saw two suspects exiting their green minivan.

The suspects were then seen entering a silver van and leaving the area.

When the victim looked at the vehicle, they discovered damaged that indicted the suspects tried to steal it.

Officers stopped a silver van matching the victim's description in the area and the victim positively identified the men inside as the suspects who tried to steal their car.

Forty-year-old Damian Doncheaz Evans, of Capitol Heights and 30-year-old Todd Howard Davis of DC, were arrested and charged with attempted theft of vehicle, destruction of property and theft.
