2 Killed In Wicomico Co. Mobile Home Fire

DELMAR, Md. (AP) -- Maryland fire investigators say two people are dead after a two-alarm fire at a Wicomico County mobile home.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal says the fire broke out Monday afternoon at the home on Niblett Court in Delmar.

As firefighters battled the blaze inside the home, they found two people dead. Officials identified them as David Cullen, 65, and Laura Cullen, 61. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of their deaths.

Investigators say the fire began in the living room, but the cause is still under investigation. A smoke alarm was found, but it was not immediately clear if it was working at the time of the fire.

Damage is estimated at $40,000.
