2 Hospitalized After Serious Crash In AACo

LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, Md. (WJZ) -- Two women have been hospitalized after a serious crash in Anne Arundel County.

The wreck happened on southbound 295 at 195 in Linthicum Heights.

State police say just before 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, a car went off the highway, hit a guard rail and then trees.

The driver was trapped inside and a pasesnger was trapped under the car. Both were freed and taken to Shock Trauma.

State police say all southbound lanes remain closed.

There's no word on the victims' conditions or the cause of the accident.
