2 Elderly People Injured In Early Morning Blaze
HUNT VALLEY, Md. (WJZ) -- Two people were injured in an early morning house fire in Hunt Valley Monday.
According to Baltimore County police and fire, firefighters responded to the 300 block of Western Run Road for a report of a fire around 12:23 a.m. and found the entire house engulfed in flames.
A Maryland State Police medivac helicopter took a 85-year-old man to Johns Hopkins Bayview Burn Center for treatment of serious burns. He is in critical condition.
An 80-year-old woman was also taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for treatment of smoke inhalation. Her condition is unknown at this time.
The two-alarm blaze was brought under control around 2:06 a.m.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
