2 Dead After Several Overnight Shootings In Baltimore

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore police are investigating after four people were shot overnight, two of them fatally.

Police say the shootings occurred between 8 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Saturday morning. One of the fatal shootings occurred just after 8 p.m. on the 2500 block of North Edgecombe Circle in northwest Baltimore, where a man was shot multiple times in the torso and taken to a hospital, where he died. Another man with a gunshot wound to the head was pronounced dead on the 2400 block of East Hoffman Street just before 10:30 p.m.

Those shootings continue a rash of violence in Baltimore that has included 35 homicides in the past month.
