2 Charged With Stealing ATM From Ocean City Parking Lot

OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) -- Ocean City Police say two young men from Pennsylvania have been charged with stealing an ATM from a downtown parking lot.

Officers responding to a report of a theft early Saturday say they saw two men leave the area of Somerset Street and Baltimore Avenue with a large object in their vehicle's back seat.

Police say officers stopped the vehicle and found a bank machine in the back seat that had been stolen from a nearby parking lot.

Police charged 19-year-old Austin Emerick of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and a 17-year-old with theft, malicious destruction and burglary.
