2 Charged In Fatal Shooting In Oxon Hill

OXON HILL, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County Police have charged two men with shooting and killing a third man in Oxon Hill.

Authorities say on Nov. 5, officers called to Southern Avenue found 39-year-old Edson Keister of Bowie suffering from gunshot wounds. He died later at a hospital.

Investigators say the shooting occurred as a result of a robbery attempt during a drug deal.

Twenty-two-year-old Diare Caldwell of Oxon Hill and 22-year-old Darin Moore Jr. of Bowie were arrested Wednesday and charged with first- and second-degree murder in Keister's slaying. They are being held without bond.
