2 Brothers Exonerated From Prison After 25 Years For Wrongful Murder Conviction
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Two brothers from Baltimore were exonerated from prison on Friday.
They were released after 25 years for a wrongful murder conviction.
Kenneth McPherson and Eric Simmons were convicted in May 1995 and were sentenced to life in prison.
Their convictions were vacated after two innocence projects brought their findings to the State's Attorneys Office.
The duo was convicted for the shooting death of a 21-year-old man in east Baltimore.
