2 Arrested For Attempting To Break Into Car Trunk

PASADENA, Md. (WJZ) -- Two people were arrested for attempting to break into a car trunk.

According to police, a man and woman were trying to break into a car trunk with a slim jim. When they were unable to, they left the area in a white GMC Sonoma.

Police followed and stopped the car. The passenger, Bonnie Marie Stauffer, had eight open warrants, many on theft-related charges. The driver, Ben Brown Jr., also had an open warrant for a traffic-related charge.

Witnesses identified them and the slim jim and several credit cards that didn't belong to either of them were found in their car.

Both have been arrested.
