2 Adults, Child Displaced After Fire In Ellicott City Home

ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (WJZ)--  A family is displaced after their Ellicott City home catches fire Thursday morning.

Around 11 a.m., firefighters from Howard County responded to a fire in the 8300 block of Governor Grayson. Fire was reported from the basement and the occupants had evacuated the home.

Due to heavy hoarding conditions, a second-alarm was called for the fire and it was placed under control in an hour.

Two adults and a child were displaced and the Red Cross will assist the family as needed. No one was injured.

Fire investigators are working to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
