2.5% Raise Approved For Baltimore Mayor, City Council
BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- An early Christmas gift for mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake--a raise!
Today, the Board of Estimates approved a 2.5% raise for the mayor, bumping her salary from $167,000 thousand to $171,000.
Members of the City Council will also see increases in their paychecks.
The raises go into effect January 1, 2016.
