19-Year-Old Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Dundalk

DUNDALK, Md. (WJZ) -- Baltimore County police said a 19-year-old man was struck and killed in Dundalk Sunday morning.

Police said Mekiah Cotten was crossing Wise Avenue near Church Road outside of the crosswalk when he was struck by a car traveling west. The collision caused a chain reaction when the striking vehicle swerved and hit another car, which in turn hit another car.

Cotten was taken to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
