17-Year-Old Dies In Anne Arundel Co. Crash

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)—A 17-year-old has died following an early morning crash in Anne Arundel County.

It happened just before 2:30 a.m. on Blanford Way near Gresham Lane in Davisdonville.

According to police, a 17-year-old driver of a Honda Ridgeline was traveling southbound on Blandford Way when he failed to negotiate a right curve in the road and struck a tree.

The victim was transported to Shock Trauma where he later died.

Police say speed and alcohol were contributing factors in the crash,
