$15,000 vintage guitar reportedly stolen from Harford County music store, police say

Bel Air police searching for group who stole vintage guitar worth $15,000

A $2,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the return of a pricy vintage guitar that was stolen from a Harford County music store on Feb. 3.

A 1947 Martin D-28 acoustic guitar worth approximately $15,000 was taken from a display area at Music Land in Bel Air, Maryland.

Surveillance video shows four people -- three women and a man -- taking the guitar from a display area, concealing the instrument and leaving the store.

The guitar has a distinct cracking on the back from prior refinishing, along with a unique serial number.

Police shared a photo of the group who are being sought for identification and interview purposes.  No charges have been filed.
