1 Person Killed, 2 Hurt In Multi-Vehicle Crash

ARNOLD, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County Police say a driver who died in a four-vehicle crash in Arnold may have suffered a medical emergency before the accident.

It happened about 10:40 a.m. Thursday on College Parkway. Police say Patricia Ann Krzeminski, 77, of Annapolis was driving east when her car drifted into the westbound lane.

Officers say Krzeminski's car hit two vehicles and was hit by a third. Police say Krzeminski was fatally injured.

A driver of one of the other vehicles, 29-year-old Zahid Ali Syed of North Annapolis, was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore in critical condition. Another driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The accident is under investigation.
