1 Person In Serious Condition Following Early Morning House Fire

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- City firefighters rescued a person during an early morning house fire Sunday.

Units responded to the 600 block of North Curley Street around 3:45 a.m. and found a row house showing smoke.

They learned from a neighbor that a person was trapped inside.

Firefighters entered the home and found the fire on the first floor; the person was trapped updates.

They rescued the person who was taken to an area hospital for treatment. They remain in serious condition.

The fire was then placed under control by 4:10 a.m.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
