1 Man Killed In Overnight Shooting In Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A man was fatally shot in the early morning hours of Monday in Baltimore.

According to police, officers were called to the 1000 block of Greenmount Avenue for a report of a shooting around 1:20 a.m.

When they arrived they found a male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head.

Although he was transported to a local hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.

This brings the homicide count in Baltimore for the year to 339.
