Older Woman, Foster Dog Injured After Being Attacked by 2 Pit Bulls

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- An older woman is injured after an elderly couple and their foster dog was attacked by two dogs in Middle River, according to Baltimore County Police.

Officers say around 3:30 p.m., two pit bulls got loose from a home in the 4000 block of Rustico Road and the dogs got into a fight with a lab being walked by the couple.

The dogs then attacked the couple, an elderly man and woman. The woman was taken the hospital with an injury to her hand. The man was bitten but the bite didn't go through his clothing. He was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

One of the pit bulls is back with the owner and the other is injured and animal control is coming for it because it's aggressive.

The lab involved is reportedly in critical condition from the dog attack, but is getting medical attention for her injuries.
