1 Dead In Beltway Crash
ROSEDALE, Md. (WJZ)—A single car crash claimed the life of one person after the car in which they were driving overturned down an embankment on the outer loop of I-695 on Friday morning.
Police say it happened just after 8:30 a.m. when the driver of a 2014 Dodge Caliber lost control of their vehicle, drove off the roadway and subsequently overturned down an embankment.
The driver was the only occupant in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
The identity is being withheld pending notification of the family.
