SNOW HILL, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police say a woman was killed and three people, including two children, were injured when the car they were in crashed into tree in Snow Hill.

It happened about 3 a.m. Thursday on Route 113. Troopers say 62-year-old Robert L. Tabourn Sr. was driving an SUV south when left the road, hit a tree and rolled over, coming to rest on its tires.

Police say the front-seat passenger, 27-year-old Jhoanna Lynn Tabourn of Philadelphia, was pronounced dead at the scene. Robert Tabourn was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore.

Officers say two children, ages 6 and 9, who were passengers in the back seat, were taken to another Baltimore hospital.

The accident is under investigation.
