Chicago's towering architectural achievements
Architectural giants like Frank Lloyd Wright, Mies van der Rohe, and Helmut Jahn all left their mark on the Chicago skyline. The Second City - whose skyscrapers are a popular tourist draw - continues its tradition of inventive architectural design with the inaugural Chicago Architecture Biennial, a combination of exhibit and think tank devoted entirely to architectural ideas.
