Austin Tice missing for nearly 500 days
2013 has been a deadly year for journalists with 59 killed and 211 imprisoned, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists. Among the journalists imprisoned is Austin Tice, who went missing in Syria nearly 500 days ago. Tice's family does not know who holds him and the Assad regime has denied having him in custody.
