Woman found dead near Mon Wharf
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- An investigation is underway after a woman was found dead in the area of the Mon Wharf Monday morning.
Pittsburgh Public Safety said officers found the woman unresponsive after they were called to Fort Pitt Boulevard in the area of the Mon Wharf around 5:45 a.m.
The 35-year-old woman, whose identity wasn't released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A cause and manner of death will come from the Allegheny County medical examiner.
Detectives with the violent crime unit are investigating.
