In England, Queen Elizabeth II attended a Easter Mattins Service at St. George's Cathedral in Windsor Castle. She was joined by her husband, Prince Philip; daughter Princess Anne; daughter-in-law Sophie, Countess of Wessex; and granddaughters Princess Eugenie and Lady Louise Windsor.

Prince Harry apparently traveled to Eastern Europe over the holiday - Romanian media outlets say the 27-year-old spent Easter break in Transylvania, according to the Associated Press. He reportedly stayed in a country mansion owned by his father, Prince Charles.

Spain's Easter services were also a royal family affair - King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia were joined by their daughter Princess Elena and son Prince Felipe, his wife, Princess Letizia, and their daughters, 6-year-old Princess Leonor and 4-year-old Princess Sofia.
