Is Your Trash Treasure?
What if Aunt Zelda's old footstool is really worth a fortune?
That idea explains why public TV's "Antiques Roadshow" is so popular.
Marsha Bemko, executive producer of the show, has written a new book, "Antiques Roadshow: Behind the Scenes."
Bemko says it's fun being part of the show. As executive producer of the show, she told "Early Show" co-anchor Harry Smith she's most commonly asked how much items are worth.
"Frankly, I most commonly don't know," she said. "I (get) my experts to help me because it's a tricky world."
Bemko appeared on the broadcast to help some "Early Show" staff members see if they might have a gold mine in their garage.
