(CBS) - Ever wonder how "Game of Thrones" looks and feels like it was shot during the middle ages? No surprise here, computers have a lot to do with it.

This YouTube video show off the stunning visual effects created by BlueBolt productions for the first season of HBO's medieval fantasy television series.

The computer-generated imagery transforms what are already amazing locations into epic landscapes and adds enormous castles into castle-free scenes.

BlueBolt productions has worked on films like "Scott Pilgrim vs the World" and the latest "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie.
