"Green Lantern" Trailer Hits the Web

NEW YORK (CBS) Superhero fans, rejoice - the trailer for "Green Lantern" is here.

The action flick, starring Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, is scheduled to hit theaters on June 17, 2011.

Jordan is a U.S. Air Force test pilot who becomes a Green Lantern and the first human to ever be inducted into the Green Lantern Corps., a small group of warriors who defend the universe.

Blake Lively plays Jordan's childhood sweetheart, Carol Ferris. The film also stars Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard, Angela Bassett and Tim Robbins.
