"Fast & Furious 6" extended first look trailer debuts

Fans of the "Fast and Furious" film series should be on the lookout for more explosions and car chases, if the latest trailer for the new sequel is any indication.

A new, three-minute "extended first look" video for "Fast & Furious 6" has been released and, unlike the other films in the series, it appears that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Vin Diesel are actually teaming up for a change.

"I need your help...I need your team," DSS agent Luke Hobbs (Johnson) explains to gang leader Dom (Diesel) in one of the trailer's opening scenes.

A familiar face from the past also surfaces in the video, with Michelle Rodriguez back in the role of Letty.

Plot and dialogue aside, most of the new clip is fairly action-heavy, as can be seen in the video above.

"Fast & Furious 6" opens in theaters on May 24.
