"Community" cast pokes fun at premiere delay

"Community" was originally set to return tonight, but last week, NBC announced that the fourth season premiere had been postponed indefinitely.

There's still no word on when the show will be back, but the network has released a video of the whole cast, in character, addressing their current state of limbo.

The video features a "Troy and Abed in the Morning" segment, in which Troy (Donald Glover) and Abed (Danny Pudi) explain to the rest of the gang that Oct. 19 is more than just a date on the calendar -- it's also a state of mind.

So fans can rest assured that whenever "Community" does get put back on the schedule, it will be Oct. 19 (even if it's really not).

There's also a joke aimed at Crystal the monkey's other (and now-canceled) NBC show.

The cast ends the video by wishing everyone a happy Oct. 19, and Troy and Abed singing, "Troy and Abed airing...someday!"
