Cheers! A "C&C" Exclusive
Last night, after the first Evening News broadcast with Katie Couric, there was a little bit of merrymaking. Beverages were consumed. Pictures were taken. Hugs and handshakes were exchanged.
Some lucky people even got souvenirs: the first baseball caps bearing the "CBS Evening News with Katie Couric" logo.
Somehow, though, by the time they got to the "Couric & Co." staff, the hats were all gone.
But when I came in this morning, I found something on my desk that's better. It's something no one else has, and you won't see it anywhere else.
Complete with lipstick.
I know. I'm pathetic. It's only a short slide from this to collecting Leonard Nimoy's nail clippings at "Star Trek" conventions.
