Annie Le: Yale Improving Security After Student's Killing
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (CBS/AP) Weeks after the brutal slaying of Yale graduate student Annie Le, the president of Yale University says more safety precautions are being taken after the bizarre killing.

Richard Levin's comments came in an e-mail sent last week to faculty and staff members. He says improvements are being made to emergency communications in isolated indoor and underground areas.
Levin also says temporary employees will now undergo background checks.
Twenty-four-year-old Annie Le, of Placerville, Calif., was killed Sept. 8, 2009. Her body was found behind a wall in the basement of a Yale lab building with restricted access. Her body was found five days later on Sept. 13, the Sunday she was to marry.
Lab technician Raymond Clark III has been charged with the killing.
Levin did not mention retired Yale employee John Petrini, who was arrested without incident last month when he took a rifle to campus while upset about his benefits.
