The break-in reportedly took place just over a week ago. The thief allegedly pried open a window and cleaned out a classroom for the after-school program, which caters to about 100 Everett Elementary School students.

Modesto City School District administrators hope security cameras will provide some clues for investigators.

Insurance will cover the stolen items, but it's not clear when they will be replaced, according to the station.
