The Fame Game

Richard Hatch, the winner of Survivor's $1 million, has a face known from coast to coast, a book in the works and a host of TV appearances.

The 15 losers of the summer's smash hit didn't do so bad either.

They kept busy all fall, making the rounds of talk shows to chat with David Letterman, Regis Philbin and Oprah Winfrey, taking turns with Whoopi on Hollywood Squares, and hawking cell phones and sneakers in advertising jobs. One losing contestant, Sean Kenniff, even had a bit role in a TV soap opera.

One bonus of taking part in reality TV shows like Survivoris instant fame, as fleeting as it may be for some.
