Chrissy Teigen: I was joking about Doritos dust diet
Jokester, model and wife of John Legend Chrissy Teigen wants everyone to know that her comments about her Doritos dust diet were in jest -- though she does really love the cheesy powder.
Teigen told Delish Magazine that she has a thing for Doritos seasoning: The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model admitted that she gives into her Doritos Locos taco craving once in a while, and then she made a seemingly innocent joke about the chips: "I lick off the nacho cheese seasoning and put the chips back in the bag. You still get all the flavor, not all the carbs!"
Twitter users slammed Teigen for promoting eating disorders, but the social media star didn't take the disses sitting down.
She wrote on Twitter, "Licking the seasoning off Doritos isn't 'promoting eating disorders' it's a hobby."
She later apologized to fans who might have thought she was calling them "morons."
Anyone who follows Teigen on Instagram knows she loves to eat and is a mean home cook. She is working on a cookbook -- maybe there will be a recipe that involves Doritos dust.
