"If there was a wall between Republicans and Donald Trump, it's now 10 feet taller," says John Dickerson, CBS News' political director and anchor of "Face the Nation."

Donald Trump's careful language surrounding support from former KKK leader David Duke appears to be causing a bigger rift within the party.

As Dickerson points out, it seems Trump may have been trying to avoid offending any Southern voters by calling Duke a bigot.

"What House and Senate leaders are worried about, is how its it going to look in the Fall when they have to respond to every incendiary thing he says?"

Some Republicans Dickerson spoke to mused ways to take the nomination from Trump at the convention, or insert a third party candidate in the mix.
