A "Northern Lights" show for the ages

Norwegian photographer Terje Sorgjerd has created quite a stir since posting online a video he put together of an amazing aurora borealis filmed above the Arctic Circle near his country's border with Russia.

Sorgjerdspent a week braving bone-chilling temperatures of 13 degrees Fahrenheit but speaking with Space.com Sorgjerd said it was worth the ordeal in order to share these spectacular light shows to people who didn't grow up with them. "They are unique, and I hope as many people get to experience them as possible," he said.
