Subway cars dumped into ocean, help build reef

From 2001 to 2010, New York City's MTA system sent more than 25 hundred subway cars to East Coast reef programs. The cars help build up the reef-- because they provide thousands of square feet of hard surface, for invertebrates to build colonies on top of.
