Obama makes case for Syria strike, but says diplomacy deserves more time

In an address to the nation, President Obama said the widespread use of chemical weapons threatens the U.S. and its allies and stated the case against the Assad regime is solid. But the president asked Congress to put off a vote authorizing a military strike while he pursues a possible diplomatic solution. Major Garrett reports.
