VIDEO: Woman breaks into liquor store office, steals cash - smiles
CHICAGO -- A south suburban Chicago liquor store was recently robbed and management found out by checking their surveillance video, reports CBS Chicago.
According to the station, a woman came into Santori's Liquors in Lansing along with six other people who are also believed to have played a role in the theft.
The female suspect reportedly picked the lock to the office. Based on the video, she began looking for loot and searched a safe or filing cabinet in a corner.
A female employee then walked in, but according to CBS Chicago, the female suspect hid behind a door before the employee left. The suspect then grabbed more cash, stuffing it beneath her shirt.
Then she appears to flash a big grin in the direction of the camera before walking back from the office into the store.
Police say the six other suspect with the woman kept store staff distracted.
