The Feed's Friday Music Round-Up: We're back edition

(CBS News) So... it's been a while since our last Friday Music Round-Up, and I can't express how happy I am to be writing this all up again now! While it may take a post (or two) to shake the rust off, I'm hoping to have you bouncing your head to my curated beat in no time. And speaking of beat, we start this week off with a song that has an excellent one to match phenomenal vocals and instrumentals. Take a listen to Kodaline's music video for the song "Love Like This" above.

I'll go ahead and admit that I may have a slight penchant for music with tinges of folk or country influences, but there is no denying Kodaline has a hook and sound that just doesn't let you down. (And I'm possibly a clown... but have my praise in rhyme form down!)

Up next, I was conflicted on who to put where with so much great material saved up. So, I decided to put one person who hasn't been featured yet in this next spot and put another who has, and let me know about their latest, in our request spot. (It's not really cheating if they submitted it to us...) But the main thing to keep in mind is how talented they both are, and how much you win in the end by my doing this. (Anything for you!) So, up first, take a look and listen to Peter Hollens and Tyler Ward perform an awesome a cappella rendition of "It's Time" by Imagine Dragons.

And highlighted previously for their unique interpretations of modern music, and impressing us all over again, is a mashup of Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj performed in the best possible way: jazz-style! Take in the vintage epic-ness and unique sound style that is Postmodern Jukebox making their third appearance now on the Friday Music Round-Up below.

Our focus on visual aesthetics and auditory excellence this week is a music video I've become absolutely obsessed with since watching. (Seriously.) With a mesmerizing mechanism employed to match a sound that is so smooth, go ahead and start to share in my obsession by watching the music video for Andrew Bayer's song "Lose Sight" directed by CzBowiek Kamera below.

Finally, for our back to Friday Round-Up finale, we've got a performance that will melt your heart while pleasing your ears in the form of two young sisters and a song you likely know and love. Watch as Lennon and Maisy Stella absolutely nail The Lumineers' "Ho Hey" while performing live at the Grand Ole Opry at the bottom. And with that, I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and make sure to keep coming back to The Feed for all your viral (and music) video needs!
